OUTFIT IDEAS FOR A PHOTOSHOOT

WHAT CLOTHES SHOULD I WEAR IN A PHOTOSHOOT?This is one of the most frequently asked questions and a very common question when it comes to doing an external essay. And although the choice of clothing is something very particular, depending on the type of rehearsal, the location and especially the style of the photographed, there are some basic rules that must be followed in order to have a beautiful and harmonious result. Thinking about it, I separated some tips to help you in this hour!

TIP 1. CHOOSE THE LOCATION

Would you like a beach? Trees and a lot of green? A cozy session at your home? Maybe in in the City? It is best to choose a location before anything else. This will help you define the face of the photo shoot and make all next decisions easier.

TIP 2. USE COMFORTABLE CLOTHING.

There is nothing more annoying than a shoe squeezing, or a shirt too small, right?

So, the first rule is this: wear something that makes you comfortable, that doesn't squeeze, that doesn't bother you. If you are uncomfortable, you will end up showing it in the photos, and that is what we least want. We want a fun time, without worries and unnecessary hassles.

TIP 3. CHOOSE YOUR CLOTHING FIRST.

Try these tips when choosing something for yourself:

Wear a dress. Trust me on this tip. You will feel more beautiful and loose, and it is the outfit that most values the female body, regardless of any other characteristic. Think of occasions like your graduation, weddings and etc., what was your choice?

Choose a dress that enhances your body. I recommend the types that have the most marked waist. Loose dresses can inflate a lot with the wind, so if you choose a more boho model use a belt.

If you are not a fan of dresses, choose a skirt and blouse set. But, choose a trapezoidal cut (tight at the waist and with a good fit on the hips). I promise you that this style values your body a lot more in the photo!

Wear something a little tidier than your everyday style. The material of the cotton blouses does not fit as well as chiffon, rayon, linen, knitting, or silk, and can look cheap and unflattering from certain angles.

Choose the color you want to use and go from there.

TIP 4. IS THERE ANY BETTER COLOR TO TAKE PHOTOS?:

Choose colors that go well with your skin tone and always take into consideration the place where the photos will be taken. If you chose a park or place with a lot of green, avoid clothes in green tones, so that you stand out and don't look like "part of the vegetation".

For this, choose colors that have a good contrast with the background, such as white. Pastel and baby tones work super well too.

Also, try to know and use the color circle combinations, which will leave your portrait in perfect harmony. It's a great way to put together your and your family's look.

Basic and light clothes, solid color. The best colors are deep reds, turquoise and other shades in the family of blues and greens (the most universal color families of all). Rich and deep greens, purples and blues are all good.

Light colors are also super welcome, as they give a lighter and more harmonious air in relation to the compositions that will be made in the test.

TIP 5. WHAT WE SHOULD AVOID:

Clothes with exaggerated prints, stripes, very dark colors, very large numbers or words. This care serves to prevent the main attention from being taken away from the essay, that is, you! ;)

TIP 6. SHOE STYLES:

Comfort is also essential here. Neutral shoes, without applications or color contrasts. In addition, all types are recommended. If you want to wear high heels, consider the location (if the test is carried out in the field or any other place that makes it difficult to move, if you need to take another shoe to get around).

TIP 7. THE CLOTHING FOR MEN

Avoid wearing t-shirts or polo shirts with logos and brands, this ends up disharmonizing the environment. Prints and colored stripes should also be avoided, they do not generate a good visual harmony. If the day is hot, you can opt for a plain polo shirt. If your style is more stripped down, choose a plain T-shirt that can be used with an open plaid shirt. If you're more classic, a long-sleeved shirt in a color you like is a good one.

The most important thing is that the clothes of the couple / family are of the same style, and that does not mean that they should use the same colors. ;)To make no mistake, bet on light and smooth tones, avoid denim shorts, and if you wear jeans, be it pants.

Once again, the secret is that you choose an outfit that you are comfortable with, as this can be clearly seen in the photos! Check out some more looks that look great for your shoot.

TIP 8. CHOOSE CLOTHING FOR YOUR FAMILY.

If you look in the Pinterest folder that I created, you'll notice that most clothes have solid colors. If you choose to use prints, try to use them subtly, in small doses and in smaller patterns. The purpose of family photos is to show your beautiful faces, so don't let big, flashy prints stand out.Play with layers such as jackets, cardigans or vests (stay away from scarves and scarves, as they make your photos look bulky!). That way, you will have more opportunities to incorporate your colors and add textures and reliefs. Your looks will look more complete if everyone is wearing something else, in addition to the top and bottom. And can I recommend one more thing? Try to make these outfits look as classic as possible. Obviously these are very personal choices, but avoid wearing very fashionable pieces or with characters. This will ensure that your family photos stand the test of time and remain timelessly beautiful forever.

TIP 9. COMBINATION IDEAS IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS

The secret here is harmony, it weighs a lot when deciding what to wear in a photo shoot. The light colors enhance the blue sky, the green vegetation and make you stand out in the photos. Also considering that it is lighter visually, therefore, the chance of becoming harmonious is much greater.Avoid black clothes in places like parks and waterfalls. Another important point; dark places and light places. If your location is in a darker environment, opt for light clothing, and very light places require clothing that creates greater contrast.Always have balance and harmony between colors. Avoid "blush" in places that already have a lot of color, as it can mess up your mind and give you a feeling that something is wrong when you look at the photos. If the photos are sunlight, in an environment related to nature, avoid very dark clothes in earthy tones, large flowers and prints with a lot of color contrast. The same goes for the beach! Think of the lightness and soft tones of the sky, sea and sand and create an equally light and fluid look.If the photos are in urban environments, where there is all the visual composition of buildings, geometry and shades of gray, small prints in monochromatic tones and in repetitive patterns are a choice to create textures in relation to the environment. But watch out for the exaggeration here too!

Keep in mind: The location where the photos will roll directly impacts the clothes you choose.I really like my clients to use tones that contrast with the space, such as shades of magenta and red for photos in the field, where the predominance is shades of green. I also find incredible soft tones and flowing dresses with textures on the fabric itself, creating soft reliefs and dynamism in the photo! :)Comment below your biggest doubts or suggestion for post.
